Missing teeth do not have to lead to compromises in aesthetics or chewing function. Dental implants are currently the best solution to permanently restore the natural function of the dentition.
An implant is an artificial tooth root that is firmly anchored in the jawbone and serves as the basis for dental crowns or dental bridges. With us, you receive not only the implant but the complete solution, from the surgical anchoring to the final, aesthetic crown or bridge.
Our practice is located only about 20 minutes from Zurich Airport and 1 minute from Jestetten SBB train station (S9, S65).
Above, you can see an X-ray image showing the implant with the dental crown attached. Below, the crown is shown in a clinical view in the mouth.
Especially with such important surgical procedures as implant placement, the know-how of the practitioner is decisive. We are an owner-managed practice in Jestetten (near Zurich) that consciously focuses on perfecting function and aesthetics. Here, no rotating dentists work, but experienced specialists hand in hand.
With us, this means for you: Interdisciplinary expertise and a result visible in advance through digital 3D planning. We minimize risk and maximize stability by uniting surgical and prosthetic expertise under one roof.
If you have already received treatment at another practice but are not satisfied with the result, contact us below for a second opinion.
We offer you maximum security through state-of-the-art 3D diagnostics and a minimally invasive, digitally guided implantation in our own facility. The result is a stable bite that feels like your own tooth. In the following video, Dr. Sebastian Horvath, Specialist Prosthodontist (DGPro) explains exactly how the process works (be sure to turn on the sound in the bottom right of the video):
An implant treatment is an investment in your long-term comfort. This is what you gain back:
An implant feels like a natural tooth. You can eat everything you want again, without restrictions or uncertainties.
Implants consist of pure titanium or high-performance ceramic, which are optimally accepted by the body. This ensures that there are no allergic reactions or incompatibilities, resulting in a permanently healthy solution.
Since the implant fuses firmly in the jawbone, there is no wobbling, no slipping, and no unpleasant pressure points, as can occur with removable dentures.
The full ceramic implant crown blends perfectly into your dental arch in terms of color and appearance. The result is a confident smile without visible compromises.
This recognizes us as a practice with the highest expertise in implantology and allows us preferential access to premium materials from the world market leader, as well as the application of the most modern, scientifically proven treatment methods.
This patient was missing the upper left lateral incisor. The top image shows the gap temporarily closed. The tooth was replaced with a dental implant, combined with micro-surgical soft tissue augmentation to perfectly adjust the gum level in this highly esthetic region. The final result below blends seamlessly into the natural teeth — the implant crown is virtually invisible.
This patient presented with a highly demanding situation: Following a childhood accident, the upper right central incisor had become ankylosed — meaning the tooth was fused to the bone and no longer grew with the surrounding tissues. Over time, this caused a significant esthetic problem due to a mismatched gum level in the front.
We removed the damaged tooth, placed a dental implant and performed precise soft tissue surgery to recreate a symmetric gum line. The top image shows the initial situation with the ankylosed tooth and the compromised gingiva. The bottom image demonstrates the final result with a perfectly matched, natural-looking gum level.
This upper right second premolar had undergone several root canal treatments, yet the patient continued to experience pain. We therefore planned to replace the tooth with an immediate implant. The top image shows the surgical situation: the tooth was removed and the implant inserted directly into the fresh socket, followed by a temporary restoration.
The lower image shows the result after three months. Immediate implants offer major advantages: only one surgical procedure, a significantly shorter overall treatment time, and — importantly — no visible gap at any stage, which is especially beneficial in the esthetic zone.
This patient presented with loose bridges and several severely damaged teeth. As part of the full dental rehabilitation, we first created long-term provisional restorations and restored oral health. We then corrected tooth alignment using Invisalign and replaced missing teeth with implants. Finally, all restorations were rebuilt in a stable, functional and highly esthetic manner. The result is a harmonious, healthy and natural-looking smile.
This patient presented with advanced, severe periodontitis, leaving all teeth with a hopeless prognosis. We restored function and esthetics using the All-on-6 concept: six implants in the upper jaw and six in the lower jaw, supporting fully fixed bridges.
The final result provides long-term stability, comfort and a natural appearance.

Maximum security and longevity with dental implants begins with precise diagnostics. Our digital planning process enables a minimally invasive, predictable implantation:
Step 1
We start with a detailed analysis of the bite position and bone structure. Using Digital Volume Tomography (DVT), we create a high-resolution 3D model of your jaw to precisely locate nerves and neighboring teeth.
Step 1
Step 1
Step 2
Based on the DVT data (image above), we determine the exact position, length, and angulation of the implant on the computer. If necessary, we fabricate a highly precise surgical guide (below).
Step 2
Step 2
Step 3
Should the jawbone not be sufficiently stable, a minimally invasive, gentle bone augmentation is performed in this phase.
Step 3
Step 3
Step 4
The procedure itself is performed with very little discomfort and under local anesthesia. Thanks to the prior digital planning, the implant can generally be placed minimally invasively and quickly.
Step 4
Step 4
Step 5
The implant must fuse firmly with the bone (osseointegration, approx. 3 months). During this time, you are provided with an aesthetic, fixed temporary restoration, if necessary.
Step 5

Step 6
After the healing (above), our in-house master lab fabricates the aesthetic ceramic crown. Dr. Horvath ensures the perfect anchoring and the ideal aesthetic that is indistinguishable from your natural teeth (below).

What patients ask us most frequently.
No. The implantation itself is performed with little pain and under local anesthesia. The procedure is often gentler than a normal tooth extraction. Post-operative care is also closely monitored to avoid pain after the procedure.
With good care and regular professional prophylaxis, modern implants often last for decades. The durability is generally better than that of crowns or bridges on natural teeth, as implants are not affected by tooth decay.
Yes, these cases are an important part of our specialization. We often receive inquiries from patients who are not satisfied with the aesthetic or functional result of a prior treatment elsewhere. Thanks to our interdisciplinary expertise, we specialize in analyzing complex or faulty preparatory work and planning a new, permanently stable, and aesthetic solution. Start with a well-founded second opinion from us.
Bone deficiency is no longer an obstacle today. Thanks to modern, minimally invasive bone augmentation techniques (e.g., sinus lift or augmentation), we can create a stable basis for the implant even in difficult cases. We clarify this in advance with 3D diagnostics.
Although the implant placement itself is fast, the bone needs time to heal (osseointegration, approximately 3 months). If immediate loading is possible (fixed temporary restoration), you can often leave the practice with a fixed, functional tooth on the same day.
The implant screw in the bone is permanent. The crown attached to it is subject to natural wear, like any dental replacement. However, high-quality ceramic crowns generally last 15 to 20 years and longer before they may need to be replaced.
Choosing Dr. Horvarth for my complete dental restoration was one of my best decisions. Dr. Horvarth is not only a personable and upbeat person but also a great specialist in his field. I hardly had any pain during the whole treatment. I am very satisfied and overjoyed with the result. I felt that I was in good hands at the practice. Big praise and thanks to the whole team.
Once again I was looked after in a wonderful way in the ultra-modern & professional practice of Dr. Horvath. The extensive specialist knowledge, the modern treatment methods and the efficiency of the staff and Dr. Horvath personally are particularly impressive.
Here, even a visit to the dentist is a pleasure every time and the end result is more than satisfactory!
I can warmly recommend the Horvath dental practice 100%!
I luckily found Dr. Horvath's family dental practice on the Internet and the website really appealed to me.
I am a very critical and sensitive person and I had a dental phobia. I actually only wanted to have a dental filling, but when I made my first appointment with Dr. Sebastian Horvath, I felt very comfortable and competently advised. I therefore had a lot of confidence and decided to have a complete dental restoration: Two bridges, 8 implants and all teeth re-crowned.
It has been very worthwhile for me because it is a great new quality of life for my overall health.
I am very happy and glad that I entrusted myself to Dr. Sebastian Horvath. He has exceeded my expectations. I am very grateful to Dr. Sebastian Horvath and his highly qualified team.
Anyone who finds Dr. Sebastian Horvath can count themselves lucky!
I am very happy.
With gratitude, A. Portmann
As a patient of Dr. Horvath, I can only share the best experiences. From the first appointment to the end, everything went as discussed. Also the good care, the honest trust makes every procedure successful.
I thank Dr. Horvath and the whole team very much that I can count myself among your patients.
Can't recommend it enough!
Background: I have struggled with a problem molar since I was a teenager and have seen several dentists over the years. I had this tooth removed and an implant placed in my home country. Corona came and due to travel restrictions the treatment was delayed, resulting in the implant healing in the wrong position and the tooth behind it cracking, making it impossible to attach a crown to it.
The solution: Dr. Horvath was able to come up with a long-term plan to solve the problem once and for all, and with the help of his lovely wife, we were able to create the necessary space for a crown, remove the implant, and place a brand new, custom-made bridge that was 3D printed literally in three hours. Part of it while I was pregnant.
This is a family practice that really cares about its patients. I have often come to my appointments alone with my baby and have always been warmly welcomed. Everything is planned so that it can be done in as few appointments as possible. As an expat in Switzerland, the reason I originally had treatment done in my home country was the cost of dentistry here. My treatment with Dr. Horvath (including an orthodontic treatment with his wife to align the teeth before the final bridge placement) was mostly covered by my supplementary health insurance in Switzerland, and in the end the whole treatment (including the aesthetic orthodontic treatment!) was cheaper than if I had traveled to my home country to have it done. I was missing a tooth for almost 5 years, and Dr. Horvath gave me brand new teeth in just a few hours :)
If you are considering going to Dr. Horvath for a checkup, stop thinking and just do it! I guarantee you won't regret it!!!
Excellent work, modern and efficient, reliable, friendly, highly recommended in every respect!
I have been with Dr. Horvath (senior and junior) for many years. Great doctors and team. The treatment is of the highest quality and utilizes the latest technology and expertise.
Flexible appointments arranged so that you waste as little time as possible so you don't come back. Excellent, friendly reception at the front desk, same goes for all the doctors and dental hygienists on staff. Dr. Sebastian Horvath was just great, professional, after a diagnosis of my dental situation everything was done in no time. Although I speak German, I was pleased to be welcomed and treated in English. Everything is high tech, probably a bit more expensive, but compared to dentist prices in Switzerland, which are neither insured nor prohibitive, the value for money is remarkable. All in all, it's a win-win relationship. Highly recommended and many thanks to the team at Horvarth

The overall experience is indescribable. It has to be experienced.
I was lucky enough to find Dr. Sebastian Horvath as my dentist (30 minutes from Zurich). His competence and expertise are excellent and I feel I am in the best hands with him. He takes the time to explain EVERYTHING.
The practice itself is also impressive. State-of-the-art technology and equipment are in place and Dr. Horvath and his team use them to provide the best possible care. It's relaxing to know that I'm in good hands here.
I can only recommend Dr. Sebastian Horvath and his team. If you are looking for a competent and modern dental practice, you have definitely come to the right place. Thank you very much for the excellent care, Dr. Horvath!
Professional competence, equipment of the practice, friendly staff. All in all, I feel very well looked after here. I have the utmost confidence in this practice. That's why I can only give it 5 stars!
